How to use this walkthrough – VenusBlood HOLLOW International Walkthrough & Guide
I plan to layout the walkthrough in this format:
Scene Title
(Choice that gives the best or desired outcome if there is a choice and the law/chaosandaffection or unlock associated with it. I will also not be listing choices that have no benefit or don’t fit the route, so if you don’t see the choice in the walkthrough, ‘Don’t pick it’ .)
Some things to keep in mind while following this walkthrough are as follows: 1. If a scene is missing or unavailable, you’ re not likely following the guide properly~ Also if a scene isn’t listed in the walkthrough but is an available choice, don’t pick it!
2. If I list either choice in a scene as okay, it won’t affect the overall outcome at all (though I will list which one I prefer to choose)
3. As far as I know, it will take at least 4 runs through the game to unlock all scenes (without spoiling too much it involves some crazy specific stuff for some backer unit scenes)
4. I’ll try to note any gameplay related unlockables in case someone is in it more for the gameplay side. Unlockedunits are only carried over if you view the scene and go to New Game +
5. I’ll only be doing a walkthrough of each route (Law and Chaos) and will note where to save for scene collection and also where you’ ll need to retrace your steps to in order to unlock scenes and/or units
6. You will need to use the ‘Rest’ scene anytime you see it to get enough Action Points (AP) to continue viewing scenes. Even if the guide doesn’t say to view the Rest scene, there is no harm in doing so.
Now for some general story guidelines to follow:
1. The route that you get put on is entirely determined by the form Sylvia is in. Her non-corrupted form will trigger the Law Route, and her corrupted form will trigger the Chaos Route.
2. The order in which you choose the capture the Dark Lords has no affect on the outcome of the game. No Dark Lord has any bearing on the other Dark Lord’s areas.
3. Rakshasa has more scenes in the law route compared to other countries and is typically done either first or second. Whilst Necrograd has more scenes in the chaos route and is also typically done first or second. The reason behind this is the minuscule amount of time given between chapters 4 and 5 to actually view those scenes.
4. From a gameplay perspective, Law route is easier if you don’t go through the True route.
5. Very Hard and Thanatos give a starting value of 10 and 13 Law and Chaos. Without further ado, let’s jump right in.

A few of the scenes left locked are the ones mentioned in Chaos Route Chapter 8 where you’ ll need to not corrupt the Dark Lords and choose to Sacrifice the people from each nation.
And also a Harem ending in the chaos route that requires Luseli to not have Fallen (or be sacrificed) and all Dark Lords Awakened but not Altered. Have fun with that!

10 Key Unit Picks
Carleen
The only 10 key unit that can give you all 3 forms of nullification (Wide, Pierce, and All Null). Also functions as a pretty decent tank in the initial run without titles and limited equipment choice.
Yuni
2 barrier skills (3 if she’s the leader), Squad Boost, and a whopping 200 Strat Support makes her incredibly valuable for allowing a team to spam some valuable Tactical skills like Leon’s 4th skill. Very resourceful unit with a lot to offer.
Tiana
An already maxed Spell Barrier and very valuable support and buffing skills make her a solid pick.
Mechasaurus
An all in one attacking unit with decent slays. You can unlock this unit naturally as early as Chapter 5, but if you can recruit this in the very early chapters it will likely wreck whatever stands in it’s way.
Procel
Fool’s Lie 2 unit with a high amount of Spell Barrier. Like with Mechasaurus you can recruit this unit relatively early, but unlocking it earlier to utilize Fool’s Lie is a massive boost in your own teams power. Is a Wraith type unit so hard to heal normally.
Fuguruma-yohi
Another Fool’s Lie 2 unit. Arguably less useful than Procel due to having a lower Spell Barrier skill but isn’t a Wraith Type so it can fit into teams much easier.
Dogma X-Beast
Has less power than Mechasaurus in my opinion, but it’s still an incredibly powerful attacking unit.
Assault Gunner
Very solid attacker. Even without titles it isn’t lacking in much. Arguably the least useful of the attackers listed so far but still has way too much going for it to ignore.
10 Key Honorable Mentions
Byakko
Can hit multiple times and very hard. Surprising damage potential. Susceptible to counter damage to a certain degree.
Erin
Fairly strong unit. Rainbow Venom actually has some use in the early game before Absolute Cure is thrown at you on almost every team. Suffers from early equipment not helping her much.
Vestalis
Has access to Group Heal and Terrain Null early, which are pretty good skills. No barrier skills if she isn’t the leader and less Strat Support than Yuni put her not as high.
Issa Kabeer
Pretty nice for an early Treasure Hunt team and is capable of dishing out good damage. Squad Boost is a plus too and can equip two 1-hand weapons.
Tentacle Hunter
Pretty similar to Byakko without the counter attack disadvantage due to Parry.
Otherworld Teria
Has All Attack without the equipment choice or innate skills to properly utilize it. Still pretty potent though.
Dr. Yoshika
Very strong support. Can work in Night type teams due to having Night- Attuned. Still not anywhere close to Yuni in terms of potential though.
Kharn Pendraeg
Can grant you early access to All Null. A decent attacker too, just not anywhere near the best.
Amphisbaena
Early access to Cross Null and a fairly decent tank.
Wraith General
Early access to Cross Null and if she can be the leader, can also function as a somewhat decent attacker with All Attack.
Naga
Early access to Cross Null and a decent tank.
Beleth
Solid attacker that just falls short compared to other attackers.
Asura
Early access to Cross Null but sadly will not really work as a tank without titles. Can be a decent attacker if allowed to be the leader though.
Lake Hydra
If it’s not able to be the leader, has about the same problem as Otherworld Teria. Good attacker but limited compared to other ones in this tier.
20 Key Unit Picks
Naryu
Non leader based Fool’s Lie 2 unit. High Spell Barrier and also has Command Division. A lot of potential here for team building.
Elza
Will dish out rather impressive damage with virtually no counter damage. If able to be the leader, it’ ll solve her only short coming of getting Added Attacks.
Bolthor
If he can get to be the Leader … he’ ll be shredding through enemy teams. Group Attack 2 and a solid attacking skill set make him incredibly valuable.
Evergreen Princess
Has Surround Null as a leader skill. Her worst attribute is that she can’t tank effectively on her own since she can’t get Forward Guard on lower tier equipment. Requires Range+Flank Null or a reliable decoy with Target Miss.
Awakened Titania
Incredibly powerful leader skills that offer both Fool’s Lie 2 and Surround Null. Her normal skills are nothing to scoff at either since she has 2 barrier skills.
Tentacle Rider
Has Surround Null and 2 barrier skills without needing to be the leader. Has other very valuable support skills too.
Tiera
Has Surround Null on her leader skill and is a very capable tank.
En-Ou-Ki
An all-in-one attacking kit with the added bonus of having Command Division.
Suzu
Has Surround Null innately and an incredible tanking skill set. Also has Terrain Null on her leader skill if you’d need it.
Shushu
Decent support skills and Surround Null on her leader skill.
Damned Azazel
Has Surround Null innately and Fool’s Lie 2 on the leader skill. Needs to be given equipment with Range Attack or it will kill itself in no time. Also a Wraith type unit so healing it is rather difficult.
Colossal Dragon
Strong Attacker if it can be the leader. If not, it’s best to consider another unit.
Innocent Glanz
Has All Slay and many attacks that will more often than not Crit. Crazy damage potential. Slap it into a team and watch it shred things.
Susano-o
Very high damage potential without needing to be the leader. Also has Group Attack innately.
Kuon
As far as I know, the only unit to be given Fool’s Lie 3 (there is one other unit but it will need to be unlocked). It’s on her leader skill though which will gut her damage potential. Will then have to be used as a tank or a Field damage unit, and she’s lacking skills to help either of those roles. Clunky unit, but hey Fool’s Lie 3 is just that good.
Gabriel
Has Surround Null on her leader skill and Group Heal. Solid support skills too.
Babel
Has Surround Null innately and a very impressive tanking skill set. Will need to equip a tier 3 shield to get Defense Only though.

Lucifer
Has Fool’s Lie 2 on her leader skill and rather impressive defensive capabilities.
Maximum Ogre
Very strong offensive skill set. Will likely need decent equipment to function at a satisfactory level though.
Andromalius
Has Cross Null innately and a very impressive tank.
Archangel Michael
Close to Innocent Glanz levels of power but without All Slay she’ ll fall behind a bit.
Bara
Capable of some strong damage when she can be the leader. And even when she can’t she’ ll be putting in some work mowing down enemies.
Kolga
Has Cross Null innately. Will need some equipment to make her function as a decent tank.
Antinomi
Has high damage potential that falls short of other units in this tier. Wields two 1-Hand weapons.
Nachshu
Has Fool’s Lie 2 innately but doesn’t really offer much outside of that and field damage.
Dragon Maiden Mio
Has high damage potential that falls short of other units in this tier.
En-Ou-Ki Sayo
Has high damage potential that falls short of other units in this tier. Slightly worse as a unit overall when compared to En-Ou-Ki.
Diretta
Has high damage potential that falls short of other units in this tier. Does slightly less than Elza. Can equip 2 ranged weapons.
Archangel Uriel
Has Cross Null innately and impressive tanking capabilities.

If a unit wasn’t mentioned here that doesn’t mean I think they are useless or don’t have a place. Remember, these units don’t have access to titles and will likely be using lower grade equipment. Some units really shine when that becomes available.

Regina: Can be recruited via Soul Cage in the Chaos Route, and after Noel’s title selection scene in the Law Route.
Unit Title Unlocks – VenusBlood HOLLOW International Walkthrough & Guide
For Sylvia, Noel, Leon, Tsubaki, Ayame, Julia, Liese, Elea, and Tetra you will need to be on the Law Route and get ther Affection to at least 4. Basically, just be nice to them and don’t train them to unlock their title selection scene in Chapter 6. Leon and Sylvia get their title unlock scene at the start of Chapter 8 in the Law Route.
Anora also gets a title selection scene in Chapter 8 if you decide to do the True Law Route.
Anora, Karvia, and Celias get a title selection scene in Chapter 8 of the Chaos Route. Again, just be nice to them and you’ ll be fine (if you even can that is).
If units do not have title select scenes in story mode, they are unlocked by beating the Law Route, Chaos Route, and Thanatos Difficulty and then checking the War Council menu and going to Change Unit Titles.
Key of Destiny Unlocks – VenusBlood HOLLOW International Walkthrough & Guide
Hain, Sheila, Chibi Yilan, Youki, Leona, and Elemia are unlocked upon entering the Alioth scenario.
Theofrad and Titie are Unlocked by choosing ‘I will reward her with my strength’ in Alioth scenario.
Youthful Loki and Day Vanilla are Unlocked by choosing ‘I want to make Anora happy’ in Alioth scenario.
All of the units mentioned above and Lucina, Nanna, Fana, Ullr, and Loki are Unlocked by completing Deus Hard stage 8 or entering Alioth’s scenario on hard or above.
Corrupted Ullr, Corrupted Fana, Corrupted Nanna, Hvedrung, Night Vanilla, and Revia are Unlocked by completing Deus Very Hard stage 8.
Demon Lord Hain, Sacred Shield Tia, Blood Spear Tia, Mad Ullr, Dimension King Lucina, Conqueror Loki, Heretic Archduke, Mad Fana, Mad Nanna, and Sallya are Unlocked by completing Deus Thanatos stage 8.
