Sex Maniac Mansion Walkthrough & Guide
Harvester (the nurse), Shewolf, Frankenlady, and Dark Mistress can be beaten in any order. If you want to open the Saints’ door, part of Frankenlady’s route is a prerequisite to that.
HARVESTER – Sex Maniac Mansion Walkthrough & Guide
1. In the southeast corner of the second floor, there is a blocked door with a gloryhole in it which tells you to make a donation. To pass you must have the nurse’s curse. This can be acquired either by being attacked by the nurse or going through the door flanked by blue walls on the north side of the second floor and interacting with the nurse’s paintings in that room.
2. After going through the gloryhole door in the southeast, take the curative potion on the floor, and read the note which tells you that the clinic is open.
3. In the northwest of the first floor, in an area with blue walls, there is a blocked door with four colored buttons beside it. Before doing the previous steps, these buttons could not be interacted with. Now, the blue, green, yellow, and red buttons can be interacted with to change their labels between “human”, “elf”, “fairy”, and “mermaid”.
4. To find the puzzle hint, turn around and move away from the blocked door. Go past the alcove to the right, then take the first door on the right, where you will see four paintings which show the answer. The paintings show the four races in the labels, and the colors of the frames correspond to the colors of the buttons. The solution is blue fairy, green elf, red human, yellow mermaid.
5. Once you solve the puzzle, go through the blocked door. Pick of the “artefact” on the floor (the plate with the green sphere’s sticking out of the top). It will appear in the lower left of your screen, as will other key items. There is another blocked door in this room; interact with it, and it will tell you to place the artefact where more seed was spilled.
6. This is likely the most obtuse puzzle in the game. Return to the entrance of the mansion, by the first floor stairs. To the right of the stairs, there are two bukkake paintings. Interact with the one second one from the direction of the entrance to get the key, which will appear in the lower left of your screen.
7. Return to the blocked door and go through it. The nurse is on the other side and will give you her seal of harvest and cure you of her curse. If you receive the harvest curse again, you can return to this room and she will cure it again.
SHEWOLF – Sex Maniac Mansion Walkthrough & Guide
1. In the southwest corner of the first floor in an area with yellow walls, there is a door with a wolf engraved on it. Interacting with it will tell you that nature only accepts the savage. To pass, you must receive the wolf’s curse, either from the shewolf herself or by interacting with her paintings on the second floor (to find them, go left after coming up the stairs, enter the door on the right flanked by yellow walls).
2. Once cursed, go through the wolf door. There will be another blocked door. To unlock it, you must input a code. Specifically, the date of “the best fight in history”.
3. To find the hint, go to the second floor. On the north wall, straight across from the stairs (aside from the enclosed room in the way, of course), there is a painting of three people fighting (one possibly shewolf). A date is written on the painting: 11/03/97.
4. Return to the blocked door and input the code. Shewolf will give you her seal of the beast and cure you of her curse. If you receive her curse again later, you can return here to cure it.
FRANKENLADY – Sex Maniac Mansion Walkthrough & Guide
1. Interact with a door in the southeast of the first floor- it will tell you to find it again upstairs, and then it will open- there is a painting of a red haired woman near the door, and the key to the door is in a painting of that same woman upstairs- the painting is around the corner to the right after coming up the stairs
2. Return to the blocked door and unlock it- this leads into a room which has a ladder leading down to the underground, which was not previously accessible (though there is a ladder on the second floor which leads to the underground but is blocked until you access it in the underground)
3. There is a rough-looking door in the northwest of the underground which is stated to be half-broken. You must have the smash curse to open it. You can get the curse either from Frankenlady or by interacting with portraits of her on the second floor in a room to the right as you come up the stairs. You can recognize the room by it’s stone walls. Once cursed, return to the door and smash it open, then pull the lever on the ground in the new room.
4. Pulling the lever opens a steel door in the southwest of the underground (if you interacted with that door previously, it would shock you). Go through the steel door to reveal two more blocked doors, one with no description and another that tells you the blessing of elves is needed to pass.
5. If you have not previously opened the ladder from the underground to the second floor, hang left as you leave the steel door and you will go down a corridor and arrive at it. Take the ladder to arrive in the southwest of the second floor.
6. Go into the southwesternmost room on the second floor- you should get a prompt telling you that you now have the blessing of elves. Other game text can override it, but if the text does not appear, you should still be able to tell it worked because a three minute timer will appear at the top of your screen.
7. Before the timer expires, go back down the ladder, through the steel door, and through the blocked door that required the blessing of elves. This will reveal a room with a painting on each wall, buttons labeled 1 to 5 on each wall, and a note pinned to the wall which will give you the hint to solving the puzzle.
8. The paintings on the walls show the locations visited in the note, and the buttons corresponding to the order in which they were visited should be pressed on each wall. So, press 1 on the wall with the tavern (beer mug painting), 2 on the wall with the market (stalls in the background), 3 on the wall with the beach (swimsuit painting), 4 on the wall with the forest (trees in background), and 5 on the wall with the tavern because the note says they returned there at the end.
9. Solving the puzzle opens the other blocked door which was behind the steel door. Go through the door and Frankenlady will give you her seal of destruction and cure you of her curse. If you receive the smash curse again, you can return to this room and she will cure it again.
DARK MISTRESS – Sex Maniac Mansion Walkthrough & Guide
1. In the north of the first floor, there is a blocked door which says that only the damned may pass. Naturally, you must have the curse of damnation to pass. Get it either from the dark mistress or from her paintings on the second floor. To find them, find a door flanked by pink/purple walls on the north wall. It’s on the opposite side from the nurse’s painting room and sort of behind Frankenlady’s room.
2. Once cursed, return to the damnation door and go through. There is another blocked door behind it with a puzzle hint. It says something along the lines of red sang, then green joined, then gray followed, then blue lamented.
3. In that room, there are five paintings of women with different colored skins (red, green, gray, blue, and purple). Opposite them are five buttons on the wall (they don’t look like buttons). When the paintings are clicked, they make moaning noises, but each painting makes a different noise. The five buttons make the same moaning noises. The blocked door’s text tells you the order of the paintings, then you click the buttons with matching moans in order. If you get one wrong, there will be a brief noise like wretching or squawking after the moan. The order is red, green, gray, blue, so click the fourth, then first, then second, then third buttons. The purple-skin painting and the fifth button are red herrings.
4. Solving the puzzle unlocks the blocked door. Go through and the dark mistress will give you her seal of the dark one and cure you of her curse. If you receive her curse again, you can return here and she will cure it again.
ENDING – Sex Maniac Mansion Walkthrough & Guide
Once you have all four seals, go up the stairs and interact with the double doors at the top with the four indentations. This triggers the end cutscene and allows you to unlock the gallery. Unfortunately, the gallery does not include the paintings, but I believe it contains all the animations, aside from Ilia’s idle animation. HOWEVER, you can absolutely just fire up Unity Asset Studio and see them that way if you want to.
ADDENDUM: SAINTS’ DOOR
The key to the door in the north of the first floor that wants you to look for saints is hidden in a painting in the underground. Entering via the first floor entrance, go right at the fork and continue until you reach the next fork where straight ahead there is a painting of several nuns on the wall. Interact with it for the key, then return to the saints door, where it will lead into a room containing one of each curative potion. There is otherwise nothing remarkable about this room (not even any paintings) so it is entirely optional.
